The tropical plants around Cairns...

We had so much fun admiring all the amazing plants on during our trip to Cairns. Everything was just so lush and tropical (being tropical plants and all).

Happy Spring & a time for new things...

The weather has been nice and change is in the air.

This amazing rose is from our soon to be ex-garden.

In the last 4 weeks, we have moved out of our home, to prepare it for demolition. It has been a busy time trying to co-ordinate everything as well as the working full time and the usual busy life that comes with 2 children.

On the day we moved house, Danny changed jobs, leaving a place he has worked at for 4 years.

Pre and post move, we have been busy further lightening up our possessions,
selling on eBay and donating. Also unpacking and settling into our new surrounds.

To our confusion, our empty house got broken into, long and stressful story, but we later found out it was someone sent by the demolition company to do a quote to remove the asbestos.

I have been sick for a week with a terrible flu.

But things are looking up, we are feeling more settled and positive now that we know demolition will start soon now that the sewer, water and electricity has been official all removed.
