A quick escape to the county...

Last weekend at the spur of the moment, we went for a drive to Toowoomba.

When we finally arrived we found some markets in a park. It was so lovely.
The sky was so blue, the grass so green.

We lay out in the sun on our blanket while the kids played in the playground
whilst drinking our coffee from the markets.

We felt like we were on holidays in another county!

Breeze blocks beauties...

I am loving that our current home has white painted breeze blocks instead of a window. It lets the air flow in and out and we have a fly screen that we attached in summer. I am thinking I would love to use breeze blocks somehow in the new home, maybe even an outside wall or screen.

Here are few ideas from pinterest that I love.

Beautiful Days

Just some shots from around the yard. Everything is blooming at the moment.

I am loving that we have a Mulberry tree. The kids are checking everyday to see when they will be allowed to pick the berry's. We are going to make jam.

We had white azeala's at the old house, so I was very happy they are here too. Just like me when I was little, Evie loves picking flowers and making bouquets for people.

Christmas Colour,

I felt like a bit of a bright and cheery colour scheme this year. So I went for Yellow, Pink, Emerald Green and all shades of Blue. It's a change from my usual silver, gold, red  variations.

The house is getting a bit of a bird theme at the moment,
I have noticed I have lots of bird tree decorations as well. Without noticing or purposely doing it, I must have collected many bird decorations over the last few years.

The Enchanting Entry...

As you would know, I love to change around my front entry table often. Its the 1st thing you see when you come home, so I always like to keep it looking fresh. Here the latest arrangement. Gnome and candle holder borrowed from my sister, come to think of it plate was a gift from her. The flowers where cut for me by hubby.

Emerald Green

I am really loving this colour of green at the moment. It matches my front table. It goes beautifully with white and wood. Have a lovely weekend. Lou xo
